The AHO Children’s Care model focuses on holistic care through family-centered and community-driven programs designed to rescue, nurture, and empower vulnerable children—where children and Mamas can thrive.

Children are placed in loving families within Children’s Villages, nurtured by a Mama who raises eight orphaned or vulnerable children as her own.

Holistic development

We meet physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs, helping children grow up happy, healthy, and equipped for leadership.

Every child discovers their value and identity in Christ as part of their development — because loved children become whole adults.

Program components

What we actually do, every day.

Children’s Villages

AHO operates villages, each a secure environment where children live in homes with a dedicated Children’s Mother. Each Mama cares for eight orphaned or vulnerable children, creating a family unit of love, care, and stability.

Baby & infants program

Rescues orphaned and abandoned babies (ages 0–2) with specialized care, love, and nutrition. Babies are raised by nannies who act as Mamas.

Holistic development

Food, clothing, healthcare, education, spiritual guidance, and emotional support — so children grow into purposeful individuals.

Neighborhood Mamas empowerment

Vulnerable women receive literacy, discipleship, business skills, and job opportunities to care for themselves and their families.

Children’s Care Villages

Faith-based child protection

  • Faith-informed interventions for safety and spiritual growth.

  • Programs addressing trauma and spiritual healing.

Capacity building for nonprofits

  • Grants, training, and resources for organizations in child welfare.
  • Technical support for program design, delivery, and monitoring.
  • Collaboration networks to share best practices.

Advocacy and awareness

  • Advocate for policies that protect children and strengthen families.
  • Raise awareness of challenges faced by vulnerable children.

Taking the Church of Jesus beyond church walls to stand for life — Luke 14:23 — compelling outreach to the highways and hedges.
